BRIEF HISTORY

Founded in 1986 by three young entrepreneurs, ours has been a great success story. From humble beginnings to India’s leading Designer and Manufacturer of Instrumentation Valves and Fittings. This was made possible by a dedicated team of professionals and our unmatched track record of quality and on time delivery.

Excel Hydro Pneumatics Pvt. Ltd located in the Raja Industrial Estate, Mulund caters to India’s domestic market and our high end export oriented unit located in New Mumbai is the design and manufacturing unit for all exports.

Cheif Executive Officer

Mr. S.Albert Rayen, started his initiative in to Manufacture of Instrumentation Tube fittings and Isolation Valves, with ” Excel Hydro-Pneumatics Pvt Ltd ” in 1986 at Mumbai. The experience gained in the metal processing sector proved an excellent basis for diversification into various high technology areas and led to subsequent manufacturing of high quality manifold valves, multi port guage valves, check valves, ball valves , precision double compression ferrule fittings, distribution manifolds, condensate pots, quick couplers, pipe clamps and Instrument enclosures, canopy etc,
He has received ” National Award for Excellence 1995 ” and also National Award for the Export Excellence 1995 ”
His thrust for competing and conquering the Export Market has initiated forming a separate Unit under ” Hydro-Pneumatics Accessories (India ) “.in the year 2005 and another unit under SEZ ” Excel Hydro-Pneumatics (India ) in 2011.

MANUFACTURING UNITS

TESTING AND QUALITY ASSURANCE

Quality is almost an obsession with us. As a result we have set up the best testing facilities in India for our Industry.

• High end profile projector
• All inclusive test rig designed and built for us by the Indian Institute of Technology , Mumbai to perform an Impulse and Vibration Test, Pressure cycling & Temperature test for fitting. Details of the test are:-Test assemblies satisfactorily Proof Pressure tested are connected to the test bench and simultaneously subjected to pressure impulse at 30 to 100 cycles per minute and vibration in two mutually perpendicular planes at 1300 to 2820 cycles per minute for a minimum of 5 x 10⁸ pressure impulses and 20X 10⁵ vibration cycles. Pressure cycling and Temperature cycling are part of this test. Please see out catalog for complete details.
• 5 Test benches for Hydraulic high pressure test to 20,000 psi and Pneumatic high pressure tests to 2,000 psi. and vacuum test up to 700 mbar
• We are the only unit in India that has our own In-House Helium leak test equipment

All critical pipe threads are formed on thread rolling machines . Seating surfaces are burnished to ensure perfect leak tight surfaces

All raw materials used by us are tested for Physical and Chemical properties in an independent laboratory. All products shipped out of our factories have the following certificates that accompany the shipment

1. QA inspection report
2. MTR’s if required by client
3. Certificate of Conformity if required by client
4. Pressure Test Certificates wherever applicable

THE EXCELOCK TEAM

Our greatest asset is the dedicated team of qualified and experienced staff.

Our current team consist of :-

• 2 Full time Directors

• 5 Mechanical Engineering Graduate Engineers

• 12 Mechanical Engineering Diploma holders

• 62 Trained technicians holding trade certificates in their respective fields – CNC operators, Turners, Fitters, Welders, Assembly Technicians etc.

• 30 Semi skilled workers

• 25 Administrative staff

Many of these employees have been with us for over 20 years . Employee turnover in our organization is very low.

A unique feature in our organization is that we do not have any “Salesmen”.Our philosophy is that every employee is a salesperson .

We do not believe in having service engineers since the product manufactured and sold to the customer do not require service as the quality is built in the product.

  It is our quality of the highest degree, on time delivery performance and 24 x 7 customer support that sells our products!!!
